Questions fréquentes sur l'affiche Aigues-Mortes
The Aigues-Mortes poster reveals the ramparts of the medieval city, surrounded by the pink waters of the Camargue salt marshes. A landscape where heritage, nature and colour meet beneath the Gard sun.
The Tour de Constance towers over the golden fortifications. In the blue sky, flamingos take flight while others rest near the salt mounds.
This Aigues-Mortes illustration brings back memories of summer strolls through the Petite Camargue, holidays in the South of France and the beauty of Mediterranean landscapes.
This colourful poster fits perfectly into travel-inspired wall décor. It also makes a lovely gift to keep the memory of Aigues-Mortes alive.
Some landscapes have colours that seem almost invented. In Aigues-Mortes, the pink waters of the salt marshes sit alongside the honey-coloured stone of a city steeped in history. I wanted to bring together these two faces of the Petite Camargue in a luminous illustration, where nature meets heritage.
At the centre of this Aigues-Mortes ramparts poster, the Tour de Constance rises above the ochre rooftops. The fortifications trace a line of stone. They recall the history of the medieval city, founded under Saint Louis, 13th century.
In front of the ramparts, the pink salt marshes stretch across much of the landscape. Their shades of powdery pink, coral and fuchsia blend with the reflections of the sky. A mound of white salt stands in contrast.
The flamingos bring movement to the scene. Some fly, wings outstretched. Others stand in the shallow waters, amid the wild vegetation. Their silhouettes evoke the Camargue.
This Aigues-Mortes poster brings back memories of holidays spent exploring the lanes of the fortified city. It also conjures up walks by the lagoons, the smell of salt and days bathed in light.
I chose a bold colour palette to recapture that atmosphere. The turquoise of the sky echoes the pink waters, while the ramparts bring warm tones. In this way, this illustration preserves the spirit of vintage travel posters in a contemporary graphic interpretation.
In a living room, this Camargue wall print adds a splash of colour to a pale wall. It pairs well with wooden furniture, natural textiles and Mediterranean-inspired interiors.
In a bedroom or study, the poster invites a moment of escape. It can also join a wall arrangement devoted to Occitanie landscapes, southern French towns or travel memories.
A natural wood frame brings out the warm tones of the illustration. A white mount gives more room to its colours, while a black frame creates a graphic contrast.
This Aigues-Mortes pink salt marshes poster makes a perfect gift for someone with ties to the Gard, a flamingo lover, or anyone who holds fond memories of holidays in the Camargue.
