01. PORTRAIT
Marie Troff lives and works in Saint-Genis des Fontaines (66), a few kilometers from Perpignan, Collioure, and Argelès-sur-Mer. As the sole illustrator for Foliove, she draws inspiration from the Mediterranean landscapes, colorful alleys, and Catalan facades surrounding her studio.
Her approach stems from a family passion for urban aesthetics. Since childhood, Marie has collected memories of squares, boulevards, and cathedral rooftops — a visual memory that now informs every Foliove travel poster.

Each Foliove illustration is born from an emotional connection with a place. Marie photographs the site during a walk, then uses these shots as overlays to recompose perspectives, lines, and colors until she recaptures the emotion felt on site.

Clémentine Troff lives and works in Saint-Genis des Fontaines (66), in the Pyrénées-Orientales, where she set up Catastroff, her textile creation workshop shared with her mother, Marie Troff. Just a stone's throw from Foliove illustrations, Clémentine handcrafts bags, pouches, kits and accessories that extend the brand's graphic universe onto fabric.
Her approach stems from a sincere desire to work with materials slowly, precisely and emotionally. Each Catastroff creation begins with a sketch on paper, inspired by a memory, a detail of nature or a Catalan color, then continues with a rigorous selection of organic cottons, natural linens and fabrics from fair trade channels. The seams, finishes and details are handcrafted to offer strong, original and durable pieces.
