Venice poster

This Venice poster was inspired by my honeymoon. A memory suspended between the canals, the old facades and that Italian light floating on the water. I wanted to capture Venice quietly. First through its reflections. Then through its colours. Finally through that sense of a gentle, almost secret theatre.

In this illustration, I rediscover the city of bridges, gondolas, and narrow streets. I also think of the masks, fabrics, and silhouettes of the carnival. Thus, this creation also evokes the world of a Venice Carnival poster, but in a calmer, more decorative version. It retains the spirit of travel, without saying too much.
