Collioure Posters

Collioure Posters | Hand-Drawn Illustrations

The bell tower facing the sea, the Catalan fishing boats pulled up on the sand, the pink and ochre facades of the Moure district, and the bougainvillea spilling into the narrow streets. I drew Collioure from my studio in Saint-Genis, just a few miles away, keeping close to me this village that Matisse and Derain painted one after the other in 1905, and which still holds that same light today.

This selection of Collioure posters brings together my illustrations of the places that give the village its character: the bell tower of the Church of Our Lady of the Angels set right by the water, the Royal Castle and its boats, the Moure District with its pink house, the Cortina Windmill up on the heights, and the streets of the old port. Each poster is hand-drawn, printed in France on 170 gsm premium matte coated paper by an Imprim'Vert-certified printing partner, and delivered rolled in a cardboard tube.

Sizes range from A4 (8.3 x 11.8 in) to 39.4 x 55.1 in. All print sizes are limited to 200 copies worldwide. Some designs, such as Collioure Village, are also available in a limited edition of 50 copies worldwide. These are printed on 250 gsm matte coated paper, signed and numbered by the artist, and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
