XXL Tote Bag Paris by night, summer 2024: the Olympic cauldron floats above the Tuileries, the Eiffel Tower sparkles on the left, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel stands out against the lights of the embankments. Marie designed this scene to capture that precise moment when the flame burned above Paris, before the cauldron became permanent in the Tuileries.

Clémentine sewed the tote bag in reinforced black fabric, echoing the night sky of the illustration. The interior lining is different on each piece, so you'll never come across the same model twice. It features an internal zippered pouch, long handles for shoulder carrying, a magnetic flap closure, and it folds flat when not in use.

WORKSHOP WORK
I draw each illustration by hand in my workshop in Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines (66), 20 minutes from Perpignan. No AI, no subcontractors for the drawing. My daughter Clémentine, a professional seamstress, designed this XXL tote bag model with an inner pocket and magnetic flap exclusively for Foliove.
PRINTING
I print the DTF transfer with an Imprim'Vert certified partner in the South of France. Solvent-free inks. The transfer is applied with a heat press directly in our workshop.
UNIQUE PIECES
Each textile model is hand-sewn by Clémentine in the same workshop. Small series, meticulous finishes. No mass production, never any dormant stock.
SHIPPING TUBE
Recycled cardboard, made in France. Item rolled in tissue paper.

Sewing is my job at Foliove. I sew every tote bag, every pouch, every satchel in the same workshop where Mom draws, in Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines.

Small series of about ten pieces at a time, never more. Janome and Brother sewing machines, Rascol scissors, Bruneel French thread. No outsourcing, no chain production: I cut, I sew, I check, I fold.

I work exclusively with 100% cotton fabrics, chosen for their durability, drape, and resistance to repeated washing. All are Oeko-Tex certified: no harmful substances for the skin, no dubious dyes. My suppliers are based in France and Germany, and I select them fabric by fabric, meter by meter.

I choose the inner linings according to the illustration. A seaside view? A blue lining. A Provençal market scene? An ochre or striped lining. It's a detail that no one sees in the shop, but that you discover when you open the bag. My discreet signature.
