Travel Posters | Hand-Illustrated by Marie Troff

A trip rarely leaves behind only photographs. There remains a light, a façade, a square passed through too quickly, a port glimpsed at the end of a street. I draw these memories as I felt them on site or imagined them from a place that attracts me. The Mediterranean often returns, from Barcelona to Cadaqués, from Venice to the Cinque Terre. But travel also takes me to Paris, London, Marrakech, Olhão, Miami, or New York.

This themed collection brings together the Foliove travel posters, but also postcards and accessories inspired by cities and destinations in France and abroad. Architecture, cityscapes, ports, villages, gardens, monuments, and holiday scenes make up an illustrated travel journal. Each creation seeks to capture a familiar detail of the place: a color, a perspective, a silhouette, or that little thing that is enough to bring back a memory.

The posters are hand-drawn by Marie Troff, then printed in France on 170 gsm semi-matte coated art paper by an Imprim’Vert certified partner. They are available in five sizes: A4 (21×30 cm), A3 (30×42 cm), B2 (50×70 cm), B1 (70×100 cm), and B0 (100×140 cm). Prints are limited to 200 copies worldwide. These travel posters can thus remind you of a beloved city, extend the holidays, or bring a destination into your everyday wall décor.
