On this 19.7 x 27.6 in copy, the lower border has a crease with a slight tear, just beneath the name "Le Racou - Argeles-sur-Mer". Once framed, the white margin disappears beneath the frame, and the crease disappears with it. You can also trim the poster to keep only the illustration, and once framed, no flaw will be visible at all.

This imperfect Le Racou poster is part of our Imperfect Prints collection: prints we refuse to throw away because of a simple handling mark. The artwork, paper and colours remain exactly the same as in the standard edition. Only this tiny crease explains the reduced price.

Le Racou is my beach on the other side of the hill: umbrella pines bent by the sea wind, bougainvillea spilling over white walls, and surfboards resting on the sand. I drew it as I have seen it since childhood, a corner of the Mediterranean I know by heart. Hand-drawn in my studio in Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines, printed in France, and normally issued in a limited edition of 200 copies.
