Oui. Avant d'être un clocher, cette tour ronde qui s'avance sur la mer était un fanal médiéval : elle signalait l'entrée du port de Collioure par des fumées le jour et des feux la nuit, et servit aussi de tour de défense puis brièvement de prison. Elle a été transformée en clocher de l'église en 1693. C'est cette silhouette de clocher-phare que représente l'affiche.

L'église Notre-Dame-des-Anges, bâtie entre 1684 et 1690 dans le style gothique méridional, sur les rochers au bord de l'eau. Elle a été construite là parce que Vauban avait fait raser l'ancienne église, sur les hauteurs, pour aménager les défenses de la ville.

Le clocher culmine à environ 30 mètres. Son histoire se lit dans ses matériaux : les premiers mètres en schiste remontent au XIIIᵉ siècle, la partie supérieure en galets roulés aux XIVᵉ-XVᵉ siècles, et le dôme n'a été posé qu'en 1810.

How I design each poster, by hand, in the Pyrénées-Orientales

Foliove is my daily work. I create each illustration by hand, from my studio nestled in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Wacom, stylus, patience. No digital shortcuts, no images found anywhere other than in my souvenir photos, no effects applied with a click. Each line is consciously drawn, starting from a blank screen.

Printing is done nearby, at an Imprim'Vert certified printer in Elne. This is no accident: I can check the colors in person, adjust if necessary, and discuss directly with the team. They prioritize solvent-free inks and certified paper. It's a relationship, not just an order.

My subjects are born from my travels. A shade of the sky, a detail of a facade, a season frozen in an instant. I transpose them into a drawing once I return, often much later. It's my way of preserving these moments and offering them to those, like you, who look at them.
