Boats Collection | Hand-illustrated by Marie Troff

It was the colourful hulls that first made me stop: the red of a sailboat in a cove, the faded blue of a fishing boat pulled up on the sand, the reflections in the still water of a harbour at daybreak. I have drawn boats in Vernazza in the Cinque Terre, in Sanary-sur-Mer in Provence, and in the small Mediterranean ports I crossed with sketchbook in hand.

This themed collection brings together everything in the Foliove shop featuring boats: limited-edition wall posters, postcards printed on 350 gsm paper, and tote bags and pouches hand-sewn by Clementine in the Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines studio. Sailboats, fishing boats, moored hulls, and vessels tied up in the ports of southern France and across Europe. Boats that belong to a very specific place, drawn from the quay or the beach in the light of that setting.

The posters are printed in France on 170 gsm semi-matte coated art paper by an Imprim'Vert-certified printing partner, and are available in sizes from A4 to large-format B0. Print runs are limited to 200 copies.
