Water changing colour with the depth, sand holding the trace of the waves, the late-afternoon light on the facades of a harbour. I live twenty minutes from the sea and have been drawing it for years. Mostly the Mediterranean, especially the Roussillon coast and the Cote Vermeille, but also Corsican coves, Norman beaches, Portuguese shorelines and the ports of the Cinque Terre.
This themed collection brings together everything in the Foliove shop inspired by the seaside: limited-edition wall posters, postcards printed on 350 gsm paper, cotton tote bags and pouches hand-sewn by Clementine in the Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines studio. Sandy beaches, wild coves, Mediterranean harbours, cliffs, turquoise water and sunsets over the sea... coastal landscapes seen from the shoreline and drawn with the light of the place itself.
The posters are printed in France on 170 gsm semi-matte coated art paper by an Imprim'Vert-certified partner, and are available in five sizes: A4 (8.3 x 11.8 in), A3 (11.7 x 16.5 in), B2 (19.7 x 27.8 in), B1 (27.8 x 39.4 in) and B0 (39.4 x 55.1 in). Print runs are limited to 200 copies worldwide.
