Occitanie

Occitanie Posters | Hand-Illustrated in the Pyrenees-Orientales

Occitanie is the region where I live and the one I draw most naturally. Not simply because it is “my region” in the administrative sense, but because its landscapes, light and history have become part of my everyday creative material. The plains of the Aude beneath the July sun, the ramparts of Carcassonne at dusk, the Garonne and its reflections in Toulouse, the plane trees along the Canal du Midi, Cathar Country and its hilltop castles, the Mediterranean coast from Gruissan to Collioure. It is a vast and contrasting region, stretching from the Pyrenees to the Mediterranean and across the vineyards of Languedoc.

This collection brings together my posters of the Occitanie region: major cities such as Toulouse, Montpellier, Perpignan, Narbonne and Carcassonne, villages and iconic sites such as Gruissan, Ceret, Eus and the Cote Vermeille, as well as the landscapes that define the region: garrigue, the Pyrenees, the Mediterranean and the vineyards. It is the largest collection in the Foliove shop because this is the area I know from the inside, on foot, by bike and by car, from my studio in Saint-Genis-des-Fontaines in the Pyrenees-Orientales.

The posters are hand-drawn and printed in France on 170 gsm semi-matte coated art paper by an Imprim'Vert-certified partner in Elne. Available from A4 (8.3 x 11.8 in) to large-format B0 (39.4 x 55.1 in). All sizes are limited to 200 copies only.
