French City Posters
France Posters | Hand-Illustrated in the Pyrenees-Orientales
I have travelled across France with a sketchbook in hand: the cliffs of Normandy, the coast of Brittany, the rooftops of Paris, the lavender fields of Provence, the narrow streets of Corsica, the villages of Occitanie. What I brought back were drawings: places that made me stop because the light felt special, because a facade seemed to tell a story, because I knew I wanted to return.
This collection brings together posters of French destinations: Paris and its monuments, Brittany and its harbours, Normandy and its cliffs, Provence and its hilltop villages, Corsica and its coves, Alsace and its half-timbered houses, the French Riviera, Arcachon Bay and the Loire. Regions and cities illustrated with the same eye I bring to my Catalan homeland, from ground level, from the street, from that precise moment when a place becomes an image.
What you will not find here: generic “Vive la France” posters or photographic postcard prints.
